I had someone recently comment that I was too far obsessed with English & UK culture! No, I have to disagree... it is NOT the culture but the lifestyle that many people from the UK embody that I so adore. Everything about the UK culture (except maybe Chavvy types) is all about respecting those around you and seeking confidence of those around you.
UKers seek to make Everyone happy and yet respect life, nature, history (which they have a large amount of) and even down to the food. It is a world that makes me happy! It is how I would like to live 24/7. I hate that I have to constantly honk at people in my car since they are not respecting my lane of traffic and thus could cause an accident. Horns are rarely used and life is filled with treating those around you with respect. I know many may disagree with me but all the time I have spent in the UK (I have been there about 9 times) I find it to be charming, a little small but perfectly fine and rife with history.
I remember going to the Anne of Cleves House (if you don't remember your Tudor history she is one of the illustrious women of Henry VIII) (https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/p480x480/405683_10150589107210390_675015389_11623282_138962660_n.jpg) realizing that this house was older than the establishment of America. I guess I am in love with a way of life. You be the judge!
